I was watching Kill it, Cook it, Eat it on the BBC iPlayer last night, and quite enjoyed the programs. It was looking at the entire process of hunting from shooting, to gutting/preparing, to cooking with a bunch of people both for and against hunting/meat etc.
I enjoyed seeing how they gutted grouse, wild duck, deer and rabbit. It was an eyeopener as it seemed a lot simpler than I’d imagined it would be.
Oh, and killing rabbits is totally legal, and they showed how to do it by hand
. I’ve read in a book that hunting with a bow and arrow is illegal in most countries. Is that the case in Britian? What about with slingshots and suchlike? It’d be interesting to know.
Similarly, do you need to worry about miximitosis
